Family Support Funding
Family Support Services is a non-entitlement program which brokers disability specific services based on each individual and families unique needs.Individuals, age 3 and up, living in Georgia that have been diagnosed with a developmental disability who are living at home, with their family, and are not currently receiving a NOW/COMP Waiver, are eligible for Family Support Services.

DBHDD offers a variety of services to eligible individuals living with developmental disabilities.

Champions for Children
The Champions for Children Program is designed to assist children and families who do not meet the eligibility requirements for the TEFRA/Katie Beckett Medicaid program.

Autism Care and Treatment (ACT) Grants
Grants are awarded 4 times per year. Typical grants awarded range between $100 - $5,000.​

United Health Care Children’s Foundation
Child must be 16 years of age or younger at the time of application. Child must have a Social Security Number issued by the Social Security Administration. Family must not exceed maximum eligible family income as documented on IRS Tax Form 1040.

Kiddos Clubhouse Foundation
Must demonstrate the need for funds due to lack of insurance, lack of insurance coverage, lack of other funding sources. Be applying for a child under the age of 21. Grants are awarded 4 times per year.

Anchor of Hope of Foundation
Anchor of Hope Foundation offers financial assistance to individuals who can provide a proof of diagnosis of a developmental disability to help cover the costs of therapy, education, equipment, and other direct needs of the individual not covered by insurance or Medicaid. The maximum scholarship amount is $250.00 per individual per calendar year.

Small Steps in Speech
Grants are awarded to individuals from 3 years up to the age of 22 years old. If applying for private speech therapy, the therapy provider and therapist must be notified that the grant is being applied for. The speech language pathologists must be licensed within the United States of America. Funds may be used for ABA Therapy.
